Can anyone date my M1 Garand?

Afternoon gents!

Was hoping someone would have some better knowledge on my M1 than me, Its a Springfield Armory receiver but I believe the barrel is Danish, and suspect the sites are post WWII. Here's the markings:

Receiver: SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 2566799

Barrel: VAR under a crown, DK under a crown, and KOA in a circle.

The receiver and trigger group have matching numbers, and the barrel/op rod have a different set of matching numbers beginning with a "D". The right side sight dial is marked "BMR", and there's no markings on the stock so who knows where that came from. Any info would be much appreciated, and a date for this beauty would be great!

S/N 1,978,000-3,627,000 August 1943- March 1945
S. A. / G.A.W. (Springfield Armory / George A. Woody). Even though George A. Woody died in August 1944, his inspection stamps remained in the Stamp Racks until March of 1945. An overlap with the SA/NFR stamp. Other stamps used on the stocks were the circled 'P' proof mark (with serifs) on the pistol grip, and the Ordnance Wheel with Crossed Cannons. The wheel was .437" in diameter. A small .188" Ordnance Wheel was stamped on the bottom of the pistol grip.

Your rifle was made approx february 1944. Your VAR barrel is indeed danish and a very well made barrel. Considered by some (including me) to be match grade. Having a ww2 dated receiver and danish barrel it will or should have post war upgrades including the sights and some pb and bmr marked parts. pb, br and bmr are italian parts made in the 50s. Your stock my also have a white sticker in the barrel channel with windage and elevation settings left there by the danish rebuild folks. If you have a WW2 marked stock like the above post mentions its not the stock that would have been on it after the danes rebuilt it. Ant marking on the parts that start with a D are drawing numbers. The receiver number will not match anything else unless someone put it there. All this info is easily found on the net. Google it.
