can anyone give me the rundown on the 10/22 magnum??

I've had 10/22 mag for about a year..love it. The extra thump over a 22lr is well worth the price of ammo. Same reliability of function as 10/22 lr, but way more fun. Critters (fox, raccoon, porcs, rabbits)out to 100 yds are no problem. Haven't shot a coyote with it yet, but I'm sure it would do the job within its range.
 
I've had mine for about 2 years and also love it. alec1157 is right. The extra thump is definately worth the extra money. Here what my 10/22 magnum has become.

Its a ruger 10/22 magnum with a boyds stock (finished with a spar Varnish),20" clerke Barrel and all inturnals are done .
