From an awful movie (Zombie Nightmare, 1987), I was wondering if this was an old aimpoint or something, anyone???

I have an old aimpoint similar, not the same. Came in a surplus mystery box from the tradex. Missing half the mounting hardware.

Aimpoint. Last time I saw one was in 1993 when Canada first got the Elcan sights. One of the boys ditched the Elcan and mounted the Aimpoint on his rifle when we hit Croatia.

I remember the first one I saw at my gun club. I wanted one so bad until the gentleman let me look thru it. The wanting was gone lol

It looks a lot like an Armson OEG sight ... which was a pretty interesting setup.

I had the grip mount as well on a 1911 for a while, it worked ,but so high & ugly.
Mind you on a norinco , don't matter.
I used it with a 2 or 4 power scope, then went to a low slide mount and vortex r.d.
