Can anyone identify these rings?

Sorry in advance for the bad photos :( All I had with me was my BB & it takes terrible photos.

These dovetail rings have the opposite taper to what a standard Luepold dovetail is. Does anyone know what they may fit or who makes them?

Thanks.

Taper should be on the piece that fits into the mount, not up towards the ring.

They look like Lynx rings, which are made in Australia and are adjustable for windage. They are held in the bases by dual opposed cone pointed allen-head screws, hence the taper being machined as it is.

Tasco used them for their mounting system.

Don't think they are Lynx .. the Lynx I have here have studs that protrude up through the base and enter holes in the ring bottoms where they are captured by the allen head screws mentioned by WhyNot. These don't look like they have enough meat in the bottom to accept those studs

Exceot for the taper they sure look a lot like a pair of Redfield rings I have .. does the other one have the scallops for the traditional rear opposing screws to engage?

What is also a little different is the scultured shape ... looks like Buehler but I am pretty sure all Buehler rings were split vertically not horizontally...really interesting

Yes rear ring is normal for your windage adjustment. My buddy picked them up at a gun show years ago. They were in a Leupold box, but these are defiantly not a standard dovetail.

Okay, thought both rings were tapered the same. If the rear ring has the "normal windage adjustment" they are a set of Buehler rings.

I did not notice the flat face machined off the one side of the dovetail when I first looke at the picture. That accommodates a cross screw in the base. I used these mounts on a couple of rifles in the past, and still have one brand new set for a FN Mauser.
