Hey guys,

I recently picked up a DD MK18 from a CGNer. Was sold as having a "hard chrome bolt head". Can anyone verify if this is an OEM DD BCG?

I bought DD chrome bcg from wolverine about 2 yrs ago and it arrived with DD bcg tube package but no "DD" marks on the bcg itself. Send me your email or cell number via pm if you would like to see some pics
 
Too many manufacturers out there, without any identifying marks it is impossible to pin it to one specific maker, the only person that can tell you is the person who switch the OEM BCG out.

Not really the point, is it? I for one, would be seriously pissed-off if someone tried to pull a fast one like that on me. FWIW, my DD Mk18 BC is laser-etched "DD" on the forward portion visible within the ejection port. Thay all ought to be the same.....
 
Bcm and DD lazer engrave their logos on the carriers. Unless you see some specific marking on it, it is difficult to tell unless you know the specific cuts of each maker. For example , LMT and CMT stuff have subtle differences, but unless you see a lot of them it is hard to know which is which, there are more shops making carriers now.
