Can anyone identify this peep sight?

What might this be from/for and does it have any value? It's polymer type in composition and has has stylized 'A' located in the front cavity. Found it in a box of random items given to me eons ago and just now unearthed once again...

Looks like an AR flat top rear sight. No idea about make/model or value, sorry.

Can confirm. It’s a Diemaco back up iron sight for the C7 / C8 service rifle. On the underside you should see a Diemaco “D” logo. I got one sitting in a drawer. They were worth more before the ban.....
