At the price point can I do better then NEA? almost all of the negatives I have read seem to be issues with complete rifles. I am looking at starting off with the upper and lower and building over time as the budget allows. Also looking at the blue line lower (when back in stock) and a Vltor mur upper. Would like to stick with a Canadian lower. Not really sure whats all out there. Not really in a hurry, mostly researching to spend my money wisely.

It will be my first AR-15 (have an XCR) never use to shoot at gun ranges so I always talked myself out of them. But since I purchased my first and second handgun last Dec. I have been going to the range more so I figured I probably need one now :) Not high on my lists of must buys so looking at starting simple and just grabbing deals as they pop up over time.

Fit an finish on the upper and lower receivers for NEA are superb.

Nice clean lines, nice finish.

For the price, for a domestic made, within Canada product, you cannot go wrong.

If all you are getting are the stripped upper and lower, you 'll do fine.
