Can i fit a P17(M1917) Stock to a P14 Enfield?

I recently picked up a enfeild P14 sported online and found a place online that sells m1917 stocks and was wondering if i could fit a p14 into it with a little work? Can i do this our is it better to just keep looking for a stock else were? Any insight is much appreciated

I do believe the action screws / receivers are the same dimensions. Other members have done the swap with no issues.

Barrel as far as I recall is a bit wider diameter on the M1917. It'll work, you just need to remove some material to fit snug.
