GTA is a part of WMU-78E,are there any more specific regulations which is not allowed to hunt at backyard?

Almost entire GTA and surrounding cities have no-discharge by-laws. Several people have been arrested for discharging in their backyards recently.

Dicharging a firearm within city limits

You had better check your municipal bylaws.
Tiriaq got it right. Many municipalities have rules agains discharging a firearm within city limits.

My CFSC & CRFSC instructor's property was partly inside Barrie city limits and partly outside of Barrie city limits. So he could hunt racoons in part of his yard but not all of it...

God,anyway, that is still ok as long as he doesn't cross the line:dancingbanana:

Check out your municipal bylaws regarding 'discharge'--it may be that you can nail him with a slingshot, or a low-power pellet gun (usually not...), or my favorite: a paint-pellet gun with a cardboard sabot piled high with #8 shot;-)

You could move to a more rural area, but then you would have to take the raccoons with you....hardly seems worth it!
