Can I order a gun to a different address?

Can I buy a gun online and have it ordered to a different address than I live in? For example to a gun store, a gun club, a friend's house, get the post office to hold it, or another house that I am visiting?

Or does it have the be the address in the PAL

I once was awaiting my PAL so I non restricted was ordered to a friends house using his PAL. He kept it securely locked and safe while my paperwork came in. It was registered to him at the time, although the recipt was in my name. Restricted... refer to your ATT.

Strictly speaking I believe the answer is no. Having said that, I have heard of it being done before. Certainly less of a big deal if it is non restricted (you don't need an ATT).

I am no expert so that is just my understanding of the shipping regs.

Yes you can. I did it with no problems. just make sure it's safely stored @ the shipping address before you pick it up.

Somebodies not allowed to have a gun in the house If the person you are sending it to has a PAL then there should not be a problem.
