Hello - does any one know if I can order aftermarket parts from the USA for a pistol (ie/ glock 17)? ..I was wanting to order some trijicon night sights, custom glock backplate, sight front/rear installation tools, magazine base plates - from sites such as - glockmeister.com

Are items such as these allowed for personal imports?

Any insight would be great! Thx!

I order all my glock parts from rockyourglock.com....brownells has whole bunch of stuff they won't ship to us. Rockyouglock will ship mostly everything except night sights, slides, frames, high cap mags (obviously) and barrels. They ship USPS for 10 bucks and I haven't been hit with broker fees yet.

I just ordered a new grip for my CZ from Brownells, received, no problems. Their website has a filter for "outside the USA" orders. Look it up!

Great! - Thanks so much for the info and web links everyone. ...I understand how some parts wouldn't be sent across the border, but it seems crazy night sites are difficult to get shipped across/not allowed to be shipped.. ...hopefully that will change one day..

I found their filter to be not 100% accurate. Have ordered various parts for my 1911's and glocks and sometimes have the order department contact me afterwards to tell me some of the parts can not be shipped to Canada.

I bought Truglo sights for my Glock from Basspro online in U.S. no problem

The problem with rockyourglock is they are slower than chit when it comes to shipping. I placed an order on Monday and it still shows pending on my account. Everything was "In Stock" and I called them today and it's still not shipped. :( :( :( Brownell's on the other hand usually ships the same day if you place the order before noon CST.

Anyone ever made a purchase from Glockmeister? I have been waiting for Brownells to bring in stock of the Vickers Extended Mag Release since the start of June. Just don't want to buy from somewhere that has a bad rep.

Glockmeister doesn't ship to Canada. RockYourGlock has it in stock. My order finally shipped out on Friday afternoon after I called them. Who knows, maybe they were busy.

Trijicon apparently is not paying to be ITAR registered, so no-one in the US can lawfully export their products :-(

..I actually tracked down a Vickers Ext Mag release on the EE - so keep an eye out as another one might surface on there.. ..I just installed it tonight actually - it's a bit stiffer for some reason (maybe its rubbing a bit) but it should break in nice and worth picking up if you can.

Brownell's service is top notch, I was trying to buy Glock Mags, and apparently Glock didn't have export permits, so their mags couldn't go across. The lady on the phone against my wishes (because I didn't want to waster her time) stayed on the line for 30-45 minutes trying to find me exportable Glock Mags, then said sorry to me when she couldn't find any.

Trijicon and Glock night sights can be bought from Sporteque. They still have some in stock. But if you want them, you'd better hurry because I've noticed they are not restocking anything once it's been sold out. No more firearms and pinned Glock mags for sale anymore either.

That's where I bought my trijicons from.
