Can I reload 10mm with a .40S&W die set?

Unless you found a set of .40S&W dies that specifically exclude 10mm (I've never come across any), then yes, you'll be fine. Same goes for .38spl/.357Mag, .44spl/.44Mag, etc.

Yes they will, the sizing die will just hit the 10mm case sooner than the 40, The die still goes to the shell plate.

If you had 10mm only dies, then you wouldn't be able to reload 40's.
If you had 357mag only dies then you wouldn't be able to reload 38spl. Same for 44mag, 500 mag, etc.
 
Sometimes it's just in the labelling. Lee sells a .38/.357 set and a .38 (will also load .357) set. I'm guessing the only difference is that one set has load data for both and the other has it only for .38
 
I bought 2 exactly the same die sets to set up on different toolheads because I'm lazy and don't want to be constantly fiddling with adjustments once I get it dialed in.

They both said on the box "40S&W/10mm". It's the same die, just different adjustments.

Don't know what press you're using, but on the Dillon 650, there is 1 conversion kit that does both the 10mm and the .40; the difference being the case and feed bushings (IIRC) and the aforementioned primer seater which needs to be swapped out

The sizer die typically goes all the way down to the shellholder...

You would have to adjust your set / crimp die higher to allow for the longer 10mm case. This has been going on for years, with 38 Specials / 357 Magnum, and 44 spec / Mag.

Trying to load shorter cases with a die set made for the longer cartridge would mean you wouldn't be able to crimp the case mouth on the bullet.
