Might want to do some research. Water doesn't deactivate primers. Even penetrating oil like WD-40 isn't a guarantee with modern primers.Deactivate them: add water and stir. Let buyer decap; but ask buyer first.
You can reuse the primers almost all the time. I've deprimed and reused many hundred primers. Sometimes the anvil will fall out (and I lose it under my desk) so I toss those primers. If they were seated in cases with very tight primer pockets and you try to seat them in looser pockets, they sometimes wont seat and just fall out with a tap on a desk. I can't recall having a FTF with a reused primer.speaking of live primers, can one deprime and reuse the primers or does it damage them on the way out?
