Hi all

Wondering if there any rules concerning the build and shape of the bolt action rifle for precision rifle series.

If there is specific rules concerning the stock design or barrel length or weight, etc etc.

So far, all I have found is caliber limitations

Regards

Great thanks guys

Was Asking about prs

Fclass is different?

F Class is much different.

F Class Target Rifle is limited to SAAMI spec chambers (no Ackley Improved) 223 Remington (which few people use after 500 yard line) and 308 Winchester (which about 99.999 % of competitors use -at least out west here).
Must use attached Bi-pod (No rests). There are no restrictions on length of barrel and/or chassis....but your weight of gun with all attachments cannot exceed 8.25 kg... these are the biggest rules.

F Class Open ... not too sure but generally (so any F Open guys feel free to , calibre/chamber per what is allowed for that range. Must guys I know are a SAMMI (or near SAMMI) 284 Winchester.
These guys generally use some really good rest which aren't included in the total weight (which is the same at 8.25 kg) ... so a guy could run a bit heavier barrel, chassis/stock, maybe a barrel tuner.

FTR is limited to .223 Rem and .308 Winchester., but high-level shooters have chamber specifications which are technically outside SAAMI/CIP specs which are designed for specific bullets or a narrow range of bullets. F Open competitors use a range of high performance 6 and 7mm and some .30 cal cartridges.
