Can I zero at 100 yards or 150?

I see that many mil surps are zeroed for 300 yards. I'm specifically interested in the swedish mausers.

It is at all possible to get these rifles zeroed at 100 or 150 yards?

I want to get one for hunting deer. Will prefer to load 120 grain bullets for some extra speed but I'll glady use 140's or hornady 160's if I need to slow things down to match the sights and military ammo better.

I know on the enfields that you can swap out the front sight to make some adjustment. Anything you can do on swedish mausers? I'm not even sure if this is a problem or not, but please let me know.

You can swap out the front sight insert on these rifles. They come in different sizes. I thought I had a link on the comp but appears not.

"...possible to get these rifles zeroed at 100..." Certainly. Both models have elevation adjustabe rear sights. However, Gunparts, Stateside, lists 4 different height front sights at $5 and $8 US. Problem is their $25 export fee.
Get the rifle and shoot it first.
You'll likely want to sight in a bit high at 100 though. You need to know the ballistics of whatever bullet weight you end up using. A 140 should be a good all 'round weight. Big enough, but not too big, for deer, bear and moose.
