I don't see why not, the frames are the same as far as I know - the only thing stopping you might be Smith and Wesson not selling slides, also you won't get the PC sear that comes on the Pro (no biggie, you can get an Apex Kit for the frame). It might work better with the 'L' slide (were it available) since the 'L' slide is lighter. The MP forum would be a better place to get an answer, somebody there will have tried it.
