Can someone tell me what RN stands for

I am looking at purchasing a three die RCBS 357 RN Mag setup, could someone please tell me what the RN stands for, Thanks Rodger

"Round nose"

as in round nose boolits

RN = round nose. The bullet seater is cut for round nose bullets.

The RCBS carbide 3-die set for 38/357 comes with two bullet seating stems.

One for RN bullets and one for Flat Nose bullets (FN of FP).

You can change it up depending on the type of bullet you are using so you don't deform the nose - especially useful for soft lead bullets.

It's a great set.

The reason for having different shaped tools for seating the bullets, is so the seater won't damage the bullet.
Use your judgement.
Does it damage the bullet, or not?
