Can the CZ527 magazine be topped up while in the rifle?

Always been interested in the CZ527, but like that the M85 can be topped up with the bolt open. Can the 527 be topped up the same way, or do you have to dump the mag to top it up?

it is single stack magazine and you can't top it up while it is inserted. you sort of can force feed 1 straight into chamber.

With my 527 in 223 and the mag in place you can lay around on top of the mag and it easily slips right in to the chamber, and a really cool thing you can ger from James Calhoon in a single shot adapter that allows you to easily single feed rounds. I have a couple these I use in my 527 hornet rifles, the 19 Calhoon, 22 hornet, and the 17 Hornady hornet. and there is a longer version that works great with 204 ruger.....FS
