Can we have this in Canada? It is quite pricey, but I like it.

Short barrelled rifle in the US. US National Firearms Act regulated. Not selective fire. Would be restricted in Canada; would likely be an adventure to export one from the US.

Looks like an AR-15 with a short barrel and a 22lr conversion kit. The stock would be a problem though - different recoil spring. Interesting!

That's pretty much what it is, you actually don't even need the recoil buffer with a .22 kit, so you can have a folding stock or no stock at all for a pistol.

On the GSG5 from Blu-Line's website:

February 25, 2008: The RCMP’s FRT Department classified GSG-5 as prohibited weapon, claiming it to be HK-MP5 variant. The decision was entirely based on visual appearance, rather than technical facts. We have decided to dispute that decision. We retained T. Murray Rankin Q.C. of Heenan Blaikie to pursue a review of that decision and, if necessary, an appeal. We will further inform you of any developments on this matter.

I just looked there for what you posted. What section was that in? I could't find it. How long ago was that statement released? Was that Feb/08 the date the RCMP classified it? or when the statement was released? And any more info?

Top left corner of their website is a big notice. I'm not posting the link, because I already have one arbitrary weird infraction for posting a website here, I'm not risking another, but google Blue Line Activities and its right on their landing page for the online store.

According to the post, the statement was issued on Feb 2008, I don't know how long before that the RCMP made their decision. It would behoove someone to email them for an update though.

nice site !

got virus alert after virus alert from their website ...

nice stuff on the site though . Just think twice before completing a (FRAUD ALERT) or credit card online transaction ... Call them instead !

Got a Cz .22 upper from the states and it works great , got some caliber conversion mags for it ( he's the only one making them , using a black dog mags design ) and its fun and addicitive as hell !

cheers !

God does Canada suck for firearms enthusiasts. Can't import jack from the US due to their export rules or stupid Canadian gun laws that prohibit things based on how they look.

Makes me really wonder how the firearm business stays alive in Canada. Its barely breathing compared to the US.

Gushulak that's how our politicians want things. They'd prefer that all Canadian firearms makers were export only or simply DOA.

It's alot easier to be communist if people can't say no.
