i would think they are all good guns since they are mostly 870 copy's. but does anyone know if any of them are just junk? i want to buy one but should i stay away from any? have they fixed the bugs in the mag feed norincos?

what do you guys think about them?

Chokes , on short shotgun it's very useful. turkey's manufacturers understood that. these two shotguns are threaded for choke.Like many turkey shotgun.

Personally I think 870s are cheap enough not to bother.

Why buy a Sanyo with no warranty when a Sony is 15% more but gaurenteed to last X years?

What happeneds in 10years you break the stock, or firing pin etc...
Is your product a good enough copy that an 870 part will fix it?

If your comparing it to an 870, Stop. Buy an 870.
If you want an AR lookalike shotgun (example) based off an 870, then go for it.

One thing about the cheaper guns is they come with 12 and 14 inch barrels the 870 and mossbergs in that price range are all 18" plus.

This is about the only real plus to them IMO.

The Turkish stuff is pretty decent for the money, but the lack of parts is a real concern to me.
Also, I often wanted to do this and that to make them the way I wanted and could almost never accomplish it for the lack of after-market support.

My 870's are almost all Wingmasters & 870P's and am fully aware of the differences compared to the 870 Expresses so lets keep that out of the discussion. That aside, there's no doubt the couple Express's I have are every bit as good as the Turkish models I have/had.

Therefore, with the exception of the shorter barrels on stock Turkish models (as JTF# pointed out), you can't beat the 870 after-market support. I'm sticking with the 870. Learned the hard way.

Mr. Fish;

How do you like that Uzkon Model 46?

Like it, no issue yet , but it' s pump assist not my preference. shoot only 200 rounds through it.

honestly, I have many turkey's shotgun , Uzkon as_46, as-41, warrior, etc,, great value, never had a lemon, I ' m just afraid of the spare parts availability in futur.

Yeah. I've never liked the idea of those spring-loaded forends. I can picture myself screwing up with the timing of it.
But other than that, they look like a pretty cool gun.

Nice to see you've acquired five of the 10 round magazines for it.

My first choice is the moss 500. Cabelas usually has the 2 barrel combo on sale for 325$ i believe. If not, the norinco grizzly are also super popular guns.

i ended up getting an 870 7 shot on sale. the short barrels are cool but i think i will stick to a brand name for now.

Great choice to start off with.

Best platform there is to build on as you figure out exactly what you want and need to use it for.

And in all honestly I think the ideal length 870 barrel for all but a few specific applications is 18.5", not the short guys. 14" is right at the bottom limit for me. I like 14's a lot but the 12.5"er's feel weird. I have a couple 12.5" barrels for when I need an 870 to be as compact and light as possible (heavy backpack & bear defense) but too short can feel awkward just like too long can.
