Can you buy a SA MP5?

I see no usefull purpose in owning one, but I have wanted an MP5 ever since Goldeneye came out for the N64. lol I am pretty sure its not an MP5 in the game though.

Or is there anything close to the MP5?
 
This is about as close as you can get. If you can find one. It is a Famae Saf. Made in Chile. They can be had in 9mm or .40 s&w (rare as hell).

the mp5 was a special case, and that's why it's on the prohib list- there was a video of a rcmp member using one in which he had removed the change lever- and you can guess the rest

A few, sort of. H&K P9S series, CZ-52, semi-auto MG-42, are a couple I can remember off the top of my head. I think the roller-system is a really neat design and it is really too bad that they can't be taken out to shoot anymore or owned by us youngins :(.
 
I know that beggars can't be choosers, but how good of a gun is the Famae SAF all things considered? How does it stack up to the handful of other semi-auto "SMGs" that are legal in Canada?

I forgot about the P9S, through I've never seen one for sale. The MG-42 is short recoil.
 
I know where you can get one - Arizona, but it's at least an SBR. Actually, it's probably just as easy to get the real thing there, with a silencer. Remind me again why I live here.

Are any of the 9mm SA rifles that are easily available that fun to shoot?
I shot a plastic, I want to say H&K, something at the range, and it was neat as hell. But ugly as sin.




Whats a roller delayed gun? And why is it so neat?
