Can you FL size a 270 in a 30-06 die?

I know, this probably sounds silly, but the idea crossed my mind, and so I need an answer.

So I have a 270, and my buddy has a 30-06. We were going to split a reloading setup. If I only got neck-sizing dies for the 270, could I use the 30-06 die to FL size it after a few firings?

Instinctively I wanna say no, because the die wont support the neck/the whole shoulder/whatever and will cause a dent where the 30-06 neck would normally start... But wtf do I know, the only reloading I've done is with a hammer.

So what say you? Stupid idea? Or potentially feasible?

Buy a FL die set for both calibres.
If you set a FL sizing die properly and only bump te shoulder .003" -/+.

No need for neck sizing dies. IMO

I like the idea of neck sizing with the collet die because then I dont have to deal with lube, and I've read multiple sources that say neck-sizing only is better for accuracy..?

Please read below and take notice that Kevin Thomas is shooting for "Team Lapua USA" and before this worked in the Sierra Ballistics Test Laboratory.
I full length resize almost all my cases and believe in "the cartridge should fit the chamber like a rat turd in a violin case".
