Just wondering if anyone can identify the following bayonet and give me a rough estimate of the value?

The blade is 14.5 inches long and the overall length is 19.5 inches.
I think it may be either a US M1917 Bayonet, or a British Pattern 1907 Bayonet, but I'm wondering if anyone knows for sure?
Thanks,
Matt

Here's a few more pics.

Can't see any from the photos I've been given. I'm looking to buy it off someone somewhat local to me and I was trying to figure out what it is before I made the drive out to pick out up, and figure out what it was worth so I don't over pay.

They go anywhere from $50.00 to $400.00 on Ebay with scabbard depending on the type and manufacturer. That one is in poor condition with the quillion missing. I personally wouldn't buy it, but to me, it is not worth that much. I own 7 Arisaka rifles with bayonets and wouldn't put that one on any of my rifles.
What is the asking price?

They're asking $75 which just from the rough shape I thought was a little on the steep side. But without knowing what it was, i couldn't really make an offer. Now that I have an indication of what it could be I can make an offer. I'm not afraid to put a little effort in to clean it up a little, but I'm also not going to pay 60-75$ for something worth $40.

It is worth what people are willing to pay for it. With out knowing the manufacturer or any other info on the bayonet, you really can't see what other auctions are going for to compare it to. The missing quillion to me is the biggest issue, more so than the condition of it.
If you are not in a rush, then shop around a little bit. There are US companies that ship bayonets to Canada, so I would check out other sites and auctions. Bayonets aren't under the same rules as trying to broker a firearm into Canada.
