Can you polish your bolt with flitz n drumel?

ok so polishing the bolt period is ok?

FWIW, Watch out for the back of the lugs. You could end up changing your headspace.

Always a good idea to avoid removing any material from the recoil lugs. I used it on a polished bolt that had some early signs of surface rust, it cleaned up very quickly.

I have heard of a few guys with Ruger Precision Rifles doing this to make the bolt run a lot smoother.
