Manner 90% carbon fill is the best light weight quality stock. . After that if it's for bush drop the bipod and get stick you will spare 13oz. And you dont need a target scope to hunt so you can get a lighter one.

Just go with the Kifaru Rambling rifle. About $5500 but hey, you can get it in .260.

Without severely modifying the rifle itself, I would say ditch the shell holder, and swap out the bipod for something lighter like an atlas.

Oh she's been pretty good over the years, it's just bad timing with her being on mat leave and all. For some weird reason she expects me to put my priorities on things like the kids and bills. Might just have to do some rearranging of the collection before this comingnhunt season.

You can't put your rifle on a diet (without a hacksaw) but you can put it on the EE. Or just buy another rifle. There are never enough rifles.

i bought a 300 rcm a couple of yers ago and really like it. factory ammo and a 3-9 vx-2 and i can shoot 1' groups at a 100yds. mine really likes hornady 165 gr sst. trigger is a little tough, but for what i use it for it works just fine

The most important thing is to get exactly what you want - if you settle for something else, you will just lose money because you will trade it off in a year to get what you should have bought in the first place.

Btw, the 260 is ok, but it should really be a 6.5x55, lol.

I'm going on 130 transactions on here since 06 I know exactly what your saying. But sometimes you don't know what you want until you know what you don't want............oh man my head hurts
