British military contract for the Royal Armoured Corps. In 1958 we were still using .30 calibre Brownings on armoured vehicles and had not yet switched to the L7 GPMG AFV Version. It will be Berdan primed but non-corrosive.

what if it has a red tip is it still non-corrosive.

The red tip would signify it as a tracer loading, no connection to the primer type.
