Can you tell primer type on hirtenberger by looking at the crate

Is there a way to look at the crates of hirtenberger and tell if its boxer or berdan. I have crates that have 04/83 and 05/83 and 06/86. The crate with 05/83 I opened and shot and its boxer ammo.

If it's made in the 80's it's boxer.

From the info I have gleaned from the Internet, the Hirt factory switched from berdan to boxer primers in '78 or '79.

As a side note, the 3 crates I had made in '77 were berdan primers. The 4 crates from '83 & '86 were boxer.
