Can you turn a restricted auto into prohib if you're 12(6)?

I have to say, right here, right now, that a barrel sticking out further from an auto than it's manufacturer had originally designed is about as aesthetically pleasing as Wendy Cukier without clothing. It's just wrong, okay? Big Question: Does anyone know if I can reasonably obtain the original barrel, say, for a Glock 19, if I am 12(6) on my PAL?

Nope. Manufacturing or converting it into a prohibited would be bad mojo according to them.

I totally agree with you but as far as I have heard it's a no go as well. It makes me ill to see those extended barrel prohibs, it's like they have a growth that you can't remove.

You would have to be a business with manufacturing of prohibs on your license, and it would have to stay in inventory.
