I am trying to find a metal clip for my Cooey 64 and was told that a Savage 64 will work. Is that correct? Also trying to find a schematic for my Cooey 64,
does anyone know were I can find one?
Thanks,

there is a conversion kit you will need to install if it hasn't been already, that will allow you to use the savage 64 clips. the kits sell for around $120 at the gun shows in ontario if you can find them.

Is yours a cooey64B or just a 64? If it's a 64b you can buy the savage 64 magazines and use them right away.

If yours already works with metal magazines then you'll be good with the savage ones, if yours has a plastic magazine you'll need to get that conversion kit that brian27 mentioned.

Post a pic of your Cooey's current configuration.

Originally they had a plastic magazine, and the keyhole, potmetal magazines simply don't fit. If you've a rifle already set up to use the keyhole, potmetal magazines(Cooey 64B, Lakefield. Savage) then a newer one will fit. Some folks find they have to do a bit of fitting/filing for newer magazines, but I've not encountered that personally.
