I don't think it's an "everybody" thing... or necessarily there is anything wrong with the extended one that comes stock with the new Norc 1911A1.

That's the thing.... I'll have to keep all the Norc parts I don't use in case I ever trade or sell my Norc 1911A1, then I can retrofit it back to "stock" as the next person's preference might be to keep the extended bits in it that I don't care for.

So far I have two Norc extended slide stops in the parts box.

Ok, so my extended slide stop on my new Norc 1911 two tone, does not engage with factory colt mags, and the mags do not drop free either...

The two Norinco mags have been noticably altered by being "pinched" flatter to extend and reach the slide stop and do function.

anyone else ?

I had this problem too with my older Nork 1911

I use 'High Standard' GI mags in mine, never had a hiccup (the Norc mags work perfectly too) I bet NAA has a few High Standards hanging around too

Nope, he doesn't. But he's looked at them, though. And concluded they are very nice mags.....

And the place that had the big box of 'em is just about out.... Might be time to pick up a couple later this week. As a stocking stuffer to himself.....

how long did it take for the transfer to complete from the time your ordered to the time you got it?!

I hear the CFC is slow this time of the year.
