canada ammo 762x39 does it shoot

the surpluss ammo,1970s S&B does it shoot well in good SKS.I have had some brands shoot well. >2"at 100yd while some were crap <8". I 3-4" at 100 would be OK.thanks for the input

I can make a 2.5" group at 100yards from my CZ 858. I'd imagine the SKS would produce similar results.

I can't make a 5" group at 100 yards with the czech stuff in my bolt gun. The same gun that will put 5 handloads into a single hole

I use it to shoot clays at 200m no problem in my Rugger M77.

"...had some brands shoot well...some were crap..." That's normal. No rifle will shoot all ammo the same way. You have to try as many brands of ammo as you can to find out which brand your rifle likes. And it doesn't matter if the ammo is milsurp or commercial factory.
Buy one box of the S&B and try it. Reloading makes the endless search for ammo at a reasonable price, go away.

my czech stuff has been known to do half inch at 50m in my 58 which is a bit better than when i feed it south african.
