Canada Ammo rocks my socks.

I'm not questioning your expertice at all, but has anyone spoken to them first hand? Or is this just CGN chatter?

Maybe with Obama pulling troops out of Iraq that will lessen demand.

Win or lose, demand will lessen at the end of these conflicts....then there will be surplus. Whether they'll sell to the public is another matter. With all the gov't support they get (esp in Kanada) they (unfortunatley) don't need our business.

Gothmog, you're probably right about pricing.....but I'm sure some would buy it anyway for lack of other sources. Did TSE not sell all/most of their PMC ammo they broughtin?

This will help explain why companies like GD are selling to the US gov, and ammo is in short supply:

hmmmm 82 pages.... I read the part about .18 cents a round for 5.56 and .43 cents for 7.62. I would pay that for Lake City Ammo.

Is there a short answer....?

Lake city is rolling out a billion rounds on 30 year old+ equipment.... seems like you don't need millions to make ammo.

I agree, No ammo @ CanadaAmmo... ??? Been working on that for a 3-4 years now.....

Thanks for reading... I saw the 82 pages and gave up, now we have some facts....

Robert, again, you would not pay what these fellows would ask (if they would even sell to you, which they can not and will not). Think in the neighbourhood of $1 per round ... at least that is what I have been told.

That's exactly what I mean about CGN chatter. Unless you've seen it for yourself, there's a good chance it's not true. $1 per round is a long was off from .18 cents.

I had posted something else, but I think this might make the point better. I'll buy every single round of new production Lake City 556 you bring into the country for 18 cents a round ... cash.

LMK.

Yes they did, and I bought some myself. Once you adjust to the new reality, its not unreasonably priced. The other choice is to reload, of course.
