Canada ammo sks combo? What are the russian sks like in these combos?

They are hit or miss.
Some guys reported having all matching numbers some reported having very poor looking ones.
I myself got a poor example but for the price I can't complain.
 
Expect shooter grade, not collector grade and you won't be disappointed. Mine was parkerized black not painted, refurbed but it shoots very nicely. For the price you can't go wrong if you're looking for a rifle and ammo combo shipped to your door.

Here are some photos. Things brightened up down the pipe after I scrubbed it with a brass brush after cosmoline removal and again after putting 200 rounds through it.



















 
The one i picked up looks to be basically the same condition as Cb750ks . With mine the bolt was black not silver like my other sks. Though the Bolt carrier and pin were still silver.

It's shoots pretty good enough, at 60-70yrds I was shooting 2-3 inch groups. Good enough for an sks lol. I'm more than happy with it for the price of the combo, if I decide to #### with it I won't feel bad. My clean blued laminate can stay stock, this one might see some minor mods that can go back to stock if I feel like it.
 
How's the ammo quality? I've only shot two boxes out of a SKS. No problems, but I would like to know the opinions from those who've shot a whole case.

Wanting to stock pile this ammo.

Not sure yet, I'm half way through a crate of corrosive at the moment. I hear it's good, the new x54r Norinco I shoot through my svt is good so I'm hoping the x39 is the same.
 
I'm sure the new Norinco ammo will go bang just like the rest. but what I've noticed over the years is the Norinco 762x39 does'nt stink like some of the Milsurp . I had some Czech stuff years ago that did'nt smell that great and it was alittle smokey . but it did what it is susposed to do .

don't mind me it's just that some ammo has a nice smell to it . Remington Yellow jackets MMMMmmmmm LOL
 
Just received mine, its not the prettiest but its all there and is operational. I have not shot it but will report if there are any issues, which I am not predicting. It's a 1954.

I have gone through a crate and a half of the new production.
Have not had any issues with it at all. Shoots as well as my Norinco silver box stuff.
