Canada and the hard to find barrel shroud AR15 etc

Hello all! Wondering if I can get some light shine in on this for me. Why is it so hard to find a canada shop or online store that sell barrel shrouds? I have looked countless hours with 2 finds that's about it. Is there a reason for this? From my understanding as this is just cosmetic there is nothing against this. Thanks in advance for all the advice.

If you're looking for handguards, these aren't hard to find. Check ctcssupplies, arms east, Saskatoon Gunworks and many more.

If you're looking for something like the faux suppressor barrel covers, a couple shops like Hical carry them.

That is a Spike's shroud that I sprayed with Krylon. Threads on both ways, that is on a 10.5 barrel. Got it from Questar, a site sponsor, you can find them at the top of the page. All it's missing is some optics...
