Didn't realize that there was such an ardent following for our little Canuck firearms. Like many other shooters, I also started with a Cooey, a M75. Although that original is long gone, I've aquired another M75 that has been neglected, but not abused.

Have re-shaped the 'club like' stock, and inletted the trigger guard. Shaped the pistol grip to fit, and will put a hand rubbed oil finish on it. It actually has fairly elegant lines when they are cleaned up a bit.

What have you Canucks and non-Canucks done to your Cooey's .. ?
Would like to hear what improvements, changes, restorations you've done.

Fun to shoot .... :)

I have 4 cooey 12g 2, 84 and 2, 840, and one Ranger. One has the barrel chopped and re beaded, as well as painted in camo. One a re-did the stock and polished the barrel to shiny steel, looks great. Another I have re-blued and re-finished the stock as well. Two of my favorite shotguns!!!
