I think its great you guys have put together a nice priced AR, but has the quality improved on those Vulcan Carbon lowers? Nothing but broken pics of them on AR15.com

You can find "broken pics" of just about everything on the internet... there are also lots of guys who have them and have had no issues.

I have a variety of broken lowers (RRA, LMT, etc.) in our vault that various customers managed to break... it's amazing what people can do sometimes.

The Carbon lowers are pretty good, especially for the money. For a few bucks more (I believe it's $100 more) you can switch it out for an RRA lower. That's still under $1,000 on the sale.

Regarding to the SCAR, can Questar make an update whether FN Beligium has provided the necessary information to RCMP already? If not is there anyway to contact FN Beligum to push them work faster?

I wake up every day hoping to get word of a final conclusion to this saga but sadly that has yet to happen. There is always a chance that today could be that day... but I'm not betting on it.

The only info we had was some weeks ago the RCMP re-sent a follow-up request to FN Belgium, it appeared that Belgium had answered some questions but not others and RCMP wanted to confirm Belgium had in fact received the last communication and repeated the request for a response. Since that I have no had any further info from either RCMP or FN Belgium.

I have written to RCMP for follow-up info but have received no replies to our requests. That could mean that nothing has happened or it could be that things are progressing but we simply haven't been told... there is no way to know and no way for force any of them to do anything faster.

Major changes in the US (amongst the FN corporate structure) have created an endless series of delays and problems for the entire US operation... nothing relating to the SCAR... unfortunately FN is not a responsive company and they move at a snails pace on pretty much everything they are involved in. Many of the FN-USA corporate contacts we have worked with over the past 2 years are now gone.

We continue to plug away at this.

x2. also does anybody know much about the LMT ar's that are on the deals page? Im interested in getting one but I dont know anything about them. Sounds like a wicked deal though!
