I just bought a Walther CP88 Competition from this outfit and they have a good selection of airguns and decent prices, postage and handling isn't a killer either. Check em out.

You did well picking it up at that price. Don't know why it would have been returned but I assume it is just fine.
I bought from them once and would do again, good prices for many things and reasonable and fast postage.

I really was trying to resist but it was too good, when I get it I'll go over everything and pass it over the chrony. Accuracy might be tough with my eyesight, I was thinking of getting one of those shooting eyepieces for glasses.

I got mine today, it is better built than I imagined but then again I'd never seen or handled one of these CO2 repeaters before.

I just had to tighten a few screws, the trigger isn't to bad either way but I prefer single action. the shiny spot in the slide is oil.
I tried some cheap Beeman wadcutters and then some Daisy hollow points and then some equally cheap Czech domes from Forest city surplus.
These are typical first strings from fresh caplets 8-10 seconds between shots.

I would say I probably averaged 30-35 shots before it dropped below 400fps, a second string in double action started at 445 and ended at 382 with 2 seconds between shots.
I was shooting 10yds and it is plenty accurate for me I won't say what the group sizes were because they are only a statement of my poor marksmanship.
Great pistol, hope it lasts.

Yes, I think as far as velocities go I've got a shooter. I will have to invest in some better quality light pellets, hopefully closer to 7grn and see if they make a difference on the accuracy.

Uh... who... who are you talking to? What price? What return?

Very, very nice - again, such a great deal! Pretty respectable and consistent velocities too.

Again, what deal?! What are you seeing that I'm not!?

Sorry for the confusion, garmic posts on the CAF too where there was more info on the deal he got. Basically, he picked up a customer return open box CP88 at a knock down price.

Ok. So I'm not just having a stroke. Cool. Now I just gotta find out who's burning that toast I smell...

Sorry I should have shared more, it cost me $209.00 tax free plus postage. So I saved over all about $100.00 on an almost brand new pistola and luckily it works good.
