Hi,
All our Standard Gongs (XTC-000 to XTC-010) are made out of 3/8'' thick AR500 steel and are recommended for rifles up to 3000 FPS at 100 yards.

Hi,
It would be safe to shoot at 10 meters with handguns up to .44 magnum but unfortunately, we do not recommend to use it with rimfire because the Target Tree uses a 8'' reactive paddle that is 3/8'' thick AR500 and rimfire ammunition doesn't carry enough power to make the target move. If you plan on shooting rimfire only, we would recommend our Rimfire Dueling Tree http://xmetaltargets.com/product/rimfire-dueling-tree/ for better results.
