Any word on where I can get a replacement bolt for a 10/22.

I tried Brownells but apparently the border is much safer without this highly dangerous peice of kit making its way across...

FYI I'm not interested in a several hundred dollar piece of bling, just a good old ruger bolt as its for a project thats up on the front burner now...:stirthepot2:

a lot of gun shops have done in house custom builds and will have factory parts left over that were replaced. but i just ordered from ww w.hornetproducts.com (US) a better quality bolt for sure, better firing pin and way better extractor than factory. they were pretty quick shipment too

I just had one show up from brownells yesterday. but they wouldn't ship the heavy bolt handle that I ordered with it. And to top it off, they never charged me shipping on it either. Maybe you should have tried to order yours with a Power Custom heavy bolt handle. :D

I bought my Kidd Black Bolt from Fabsports. Great bolt by the way. Comes with the Kidd extractor. I don't see it on their site right now but I am sure if you contact Fabrice he will get it for you in a hurry.

I got a bolt from brownells as well . Order had to be under 100 I think the complete bolt was 40 u can have it for 50 plus shipping 

My apologies gentlemen. Apparently when I read "ATTENTION CUSTOMER: SIR: DUE TO DDTC RESTRICTIONS REGARDING THE NON-REGISTRATION
OF MANUFACTURERS, ITEM(S) HAVE BEEN CANCELED FROM YOUR ORDER. THANK YOU."
I assumed it was the bolt. As it turns out it was the bolt charging handle... go figure. So inconvenient but no harm, no foul.

They're so serious about not exporting barrels that they deleted this piece of yellow plastic from my order! I think the terrorists have won... :(

It's good to know that Canadian terrorists won't be able to build high quality .22's. I feel safer already. Thanks Obama!
