Canadian antique specialist gunsmiths??

I have been working on a 61 springfield for some time, well Im at a impasse

The damned nipple is frozen, not just frozen but damn stuck.

I have tried heating, cooling and swearing at it....Nothing is working.

So is there a Canadian gunsmith that can do this for me for a reasonable price??

I know theres a pile of Americans that can do it , I would much rather give my money to a Canadian if he has the skills to do the job.

The first thing I did was look to see where you are in this vast country of ours. It is always one of my pet peeves that members here aren't forced to give their location. I can't figure out why most don't? I know of one absolutely "fine" gunsmith living in Ontario, who was trained in England. He picks his work. Those nipples can be a horror to get out. Have you tried "Kroil" both inside and out? The last stubborn one I worked on required heating the bolster with an acetylene torch. PM me and let me know where you are. Good luck, Dave

Last hardened nipple I had to remove was a pig. Someone had tried to get it out, and had broken a broken screw extractor off inside it. Hardened nipple, hardened extractor, hammered in. Wound up using diamond burrs, cut the extractor out, opened out the nipple, then cut sideways until the nipple stump was weakened to the point I could collapse it, and remove it in pieces. Got it out without spoiling the threads. This was in a revolver cylinder.
