see how easy it is to give wrong information on the internet without any reason to be honest,

maybe if the RULES (do we want to use and have rules) were that any rumours need to contain the name and address of where we got the information we might be able to PUNISH those people who wreck the reputation we would have a better info source

why do people not just ask if they are made in house or better yet call the manufacture instead of starting rumours

another example Jury barrels has ben lapping his barrels for over a year now, for those who want and maybe some regular customers as I understand from talking with him a few months ago and talking with custom gunworkz, but all the idiot experts just want to put him out of business with internet rumours, so unless some of us stick up for what used to be called THE TRUTH

then all is lost,

I'm 54 and caught that so be careful how you generalize. :)

Robertson is most definitely out of business. It is a shame. He was the best Canadian stock maker. Likely one of the best in the world. His stocks are still in high demand if you can find one. Some company in the us bought all his molds.

Bob was nice enough to let myself and my smith I am working with come and see his operation a few weeks ago before we started ordering barrels from him. He walked us through his process and showed us some of his finished barrels. He did confirm that he is still not lapping his barrels, but by god you sure couldn't tell by the finish of the ones we looked at!! I was really impressed with the ones we looked at and from what we have heard about them from reputable shooters and builders, we where prepared to give them a go on some of our builds. We are starting a project that focuses on ALL Canadian builds and will be using Jury for our barrels.
We started with 5 barrels to chamber and try in a couple pet builds before going into any sale builds. 6MT does happen to be getting a rebarrel out of this, I am doing a full build with the manufacturers I mentioned earlier. It's really exciting to see other people interested in this type of project. Stay tuned for some interesting things coming up.
