Canadian BDX .357

I've fired lots of his commercial reloaded 9mm, pretty good ammo but man it gets my GP6 dirty fast. I bought some of his 357 and 223 last month but have not used it yet.

I have always had good results from BDX bullets, using many of his swaged lead bullets, but more recently his 9mm ammunition. Good accuracy at a good price.

If you are asking about the actual bullets and not loaded ammo, I've used some from several years back. Weight and size were bang on, the cannelure left a bit to desire if it was important to get a good crimp. It was very shallow, more of a ripple than an actual indent. I didn't have a problem in my 586 but always wondered if the crimp would hold in a lever-gun tube.

These were 158g from about 5 years ago, not sure if his current stock is the same.

bdx bullets penetrate that paper really well. you can see absolutely no resistance, that paper (even cardboard!) has no chance :)

seriously... they are fine. i just buy cast lead now, i'm done with copper unless competing, there's no reason to pay the extra $$ to get fmj or copper plated.

I've reloaded BDX in 9mm and .40S&W, seem very consistent & trouble-free, which is very important for someone like myself who is new to reloading.
