Had the chance, finally, to shoot some of the reman. 180 gr. FMJ .40 that I ordered from Canadian BDX. My thanks to Nashorn and his invite to the Grande Prairie range.
Fired aprx. 120 rounds out of my 4" Smith and Wesson 4006. Had only one stoppage of any kind. One round had the bullet telescope into the casing when chambered. Maybe not crimped tight enough? Other than that chambering, firing, and extraction were flawless.
We were shooting IPSC targets at 7m. Quite easily got 4 inch groups during rapid fire. Keep in mind, I'm no Annie Oakley.
No idea of how hot it was loaded, but it was easy to get back on target for follow up shots.
I'm very pleased with this ammo, especially considering the price. $175/1000 plus tax and shipping is really a steal. Anybody going to Calgary so I can order more and save on the shipping?
