Canadian broad arrow or british? no1 mkiii*

My friend picked this sporter up a while back. I didnt really look at the markings till today. Is this a british or canadian broad arrow? this rifle is a BSA no1mkiii* but it looks like it was converted from a no1mkiii. Unforunately it has also be sportered

i seem to recall seeing a marking like this arrow on a webley mkii i used to own.

i forgot to grab a picture of the main reciever stamping sorry. I believe the year was 1918 and it also said FTR on there but didnt have a year for that.

Those are British marks, Canadian would have a "C" Broad Arrow. I have seen No 1 MK III*'s with that marking.

Yep, a Brit Crowfoot (Broad Arrow).
