Corwin Arms was selling SMLEs, both Mk. IIIs and III*s with excellent barrels (some with and some without cutoffs, depending on the Mk.) for $900 or less. Many of them had Canadian ownership markings. They were also selling Mk.IIIs with volley sights (original but buggered disk/pointer, with reproduction sets) for closer to $1000.
You can still find NOS butts, and hand guards but the forends are unobtanium. Sarco in the US sells wood sets, but the reviews are bad, worse than bad actually, downright crap - apparently the forends may be warped and often require tons of fitting work if they aren't buggered. I can't recall the name of the company (they're in Saskatchewan) but they sell wood sets for the No.1 and No.4. Expect to pay ~$400 for the wood, and then a bunch more for the metal. The value will never be the same for a restored Enfield as for a proper military configured original - but you could probably get $600 or so for a restoration.
