Thanks
Bob

I would also like to know if there are any jacketed rifle bullets made in canada! What I would give for some 55 grain FMJ .224 bullets...

I think wolf Bullets in Kingston Ont. cast their own.

Just google Wolf Bullets for their site.

Not sure if they do rifle though.

There's a guy in Peace River that does I can't for the life of me remember his name though. There's a couple guys on here from there so maybe one of them can chime in.

Found the box of bullets, Chinchaga Bullet Company, now the next question are they still producing any?

AIM projectiles in Hamilton produces plated handgun bullets in the most popular calibers, fair prices too

Oops, forgot to read your reply, disregard

The outfit you want in Peace River is the Chinchaga Bullet Co. You want to talk to Dale and I believe his number is 780 624 8832. I haven't bumped into him for awhile but the last time I saw him he had a booth at a local gun show.

Not that much out of line on price from Matrix, fused core custom bullets @$35- $45. What do accubonds cost??? Better to buy Canadian.

Will let you know how they shoot...

Andy

$35-40 per 50 premium bullets is expensive? guess you guys haven't bought premium bullets as of late. I just picked up a box of 120gr Nosler partitions in .257 from LeBarons in T.O. for $43.94 for 50.....Barnes TSX's if you can find them not on back order are $55-80 per 50.........you get what you pay for.

going to drop matrix a line for some info

Considering I can get a box of 100 Amax for $38.00, yes, I'd call those expensive.

you want prices to go down then demand has to go up support Canadian bullet makers and maybe they will support us?.....

I emailed matrix bullets and just got a reply from Marshal who gave me the following info on my inquiry on their 125gr .257 bullet.

here is his reply:
BC .418 SD .270 the terminal performance has been very impressive with the bonded core bullets. The jacket thickness for the .257 is 0.22 & the bonding is basically soldered but with no inclusions. Its so wicked on white tails. Thanks for the inquiry.
