Held in Vancouver this past weekend. Men's division - 1st Tye Bietz, 2nd Curtis Wennberg, 3rd Giuseppe Di Salvatore, 4th John Primrose.

Women - 1st Cynthia Meyer, 2nd Susan Nattrass, 3rd Sandra Honour.

Cynthia also won the women's doubles match. Does anyone know who won the men's doubles event?

How a big event is run...I heard you guys had a record breaking 60 shooters at your PITA event last weekend. We are expecting around 100 PITA shooters this weekend in Kelowna. Three Days 700 targets...good times :)
 
Jacky, I hear there will be a few Albertains comming to a shoot in Vernon on the long weekend. Have you ever gone? Good times I assume?

We just finished our shoot and although there were not as many as we hoped there were quite a few shooters and yes a few from Alberta. Next year will be bigger.

The Labour Day Classic in Vernon is probably the biggest PITA shoot in Canada if not the biggest shoot period ?? There are always shooters from the USA, Alberta and BC and it is a great shoot to attend. TONS of targets and you have to be at your best to win because the best will be there shooting. Last year two Americans came up and shot scores of...if I remember correctly, 97 and 98 from the 27 yard line to win the Calcutta handicap championship. They were good.

Good times yes...hard shooting for someone who is still a rookie like me due to the caliber of shooters, but good times none the less.
