For those that are attending I'm sure that they have had this marked on the calendar for sometime.
For those unaware ,it is the annual National Championship for F Class Long Range competitors held annually on the
Connaught Ranges in Ottawa .
As there hasn't been a post started yet regarding this,I thought I'd get one going.
This promises to be a stellar year for the Nationals as attendance from across this country is booked and entries at a good level.
In addition, a number of our friends from the US and England will be there to not only shoot the Nationals, but to
participate in the America's Team Match following the Nats.
Scott,Barry,Kathy and all the Ottawa gang have been busy getting everything organized and Eric and his Team are hard
at work putting together a Canadian Team to win at the America's.
This is the first time (that I'm aware of) that the F Class America's Match will be shot as a sole entity and not
"alongside" the TR America's Match.
If it were any kind of a spectator sport, I'd invite ya'll out to watch, but in truth ,I think that unless you're shooting it,it can be
a little like watching grass grow.
Hopefully as the Matches get underway ,some computer/camera savy person will have time to post some pics and
commentary to keep things interesting.....
Anyways....looking forward to seeing a lot of you there.
Regards
Gord
PS Have been informed that barrack accommodation WILL be available for this.
