Once upon a time Prairie Dog Gun Works or some such proposed a hot dog sniper rifle to HMCF. Included in that package was a USO 3.2-17 x 44 SN-3 with a 34mm tube and side mounted parallax adjustment. Now being young and dumb, I thought that was a very pretty scope and had to have one. I traded my MST-100 and rings for it, and then paid the $400 license fee for a H-25 lit reticle. Even though HMCF didn't buy this scope (they purchased to my understanding some very fine German glass), this scope was known for sometime thereafter as the "Canadian."
Shown below is the result, and I love it to death. Some of you might note some of the advanced features of the M40A3 with a few mods that I made. Cheers!
