Could you make a QD port attachment plate like the one GG&G makes? It would replace the sling slot plate you use now.

Use the factory spring.
Of that does not work for you .
Then cut the supplied sping 2 to 3 inch past the end of the tube and adjust as needed

Using the factory spring allowed mine to accommodate SIX, 3-inch rounds, with room to spare. Be careful. Simon is deleting my posts on this topic as he doesn’t want to deal with it. We’ve been in contact and he is choosing to evade the issue.

it seems like that's been fixed. I'm getting six 2 3/4 shells in mine

Hi there, when you say to cut the spring 2-3 inches past the end of the tube, do you mean the factory magazine tube without the SJ extension installed? Or do you mean 2-3 inches past the whole assembled length (effectively 2-3 inches past the end of barrel)?

Thanks!

Not sure why proper extensions can't be made. I pinned my Nordic extension in under ten minutes with simple tools. Guys with Novas probably don't like getting the shaft either

I would cut around 10 inches or so past the extension length and if it's too tight just trim it back until it's comfortable. It should have some resistance, but not feel like you're breaking your fingers trying to get the last shell in.
